When you're out camping, you probably won't have the comfort of your bed with you. And if you suffer from back pain, you may need to think creatively to stay comfortable.
The easy answer is simply to give everything you're bringing with you a close look. From the tent you're staying in to the air mattress or pad you'll be sleeping on, the details make a difference. Find a sleeping arrangement that will make sense for your trip without hurting your back even more.
Also remember your sleeping positions and make sure you can do them in your campsite. Sleeping on your back or sides tends to be a good choice if you're worried about pain, so check to see that you'll have enough room.
