Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner Michelle Gavin, RN, MSN, ANP-BC has joined Bronston Chiropractic and the Community Care Clinic in Onalaska. Michelle earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. As a member of the integrative health practice she offers wellness examinations with interest in providing patient centered care.
Research has shown that teams that communicate and collaborate best-practice information and care coordination dramatically improve patient care with the best outcomes (Institute of Medicine Report, 2001). The clinic provides an option for safest, evidence-based clinical care delivery with optimal regard to meet and exceed the patient health care needs and where the efficacy of treatment modality and or other interventions are continually being monitored.
In addition to her role at Bronston Chiropractic & Community Care Clinic, she works part-time in Home Health and Hospice Services at Mayo Clinic Health Care System in La Crosse and for Logistics Health Incorporated in the Periodic Health Assessment and Post-Deployment Health Re-Assessment Programs. Prior work experience, Michelle taught in the School of Nursing at Viterbo University and practiced at the Tomah VAMC caring for patients in long-term-care and receiving inpatient rehabilitative services.
