It’s not just younger generations that have a love affair with modern technology. According to a new Common Sense Media report, parents of young adults are spending large amounts of time on devices.
The study found that most parents of teenagers and “tweens” are using screen-based media at least nine hours every day on average. At the same time, forty-three percent of parents also worry that their children spend too much time on the internet.
Sitting and staring at a device is a noted way to increase slouching and other back risks. If you’re a parent with device-happy children, there’s a chance all of you might benefit from a chiropractor or another medical professional.
